TIG - Preheating of the base material is generally not necessary. Do not keep the weld pool too wide. When surfacing on ferrous materials, introduce as much filler material as possible into the arc. MIG - Preheat thick workpieces to +250°C. Do not keep the weld pool too wide. For the first layer of surfacing on ferrous materials, pulsed arc welding is recommended. |
