WIG Welding Rod ESAB OK Tigrod 12.61

OK Tigrod 12.61 is a universally applicable TIG welding rod for root and joint welding on unalloyed and low-alloy steels. The filler material is particularly suitable for general structural steels, fine-grain structural steels, and pressure vessel steels. Typical base materials include, for example, P235 / S235 to P420 / S420 and comparable steels.

Thanks to its balanced alloy composition in the carbon-manganese-silicon system, the welding rod ensures smooth welding behavior, good seam formation, and reliable mechanical properties. The weld metal is characterized by high toughness and is suitable for operating temperatures down to -50 °C.

OK Tigrod 12.61 is used with shielding gas according to EN ISO 14175 Group I1 and offers high process reliability for TIG welding work in steel construction, plant engineering, and pressure vessel and pipeline construction.
