Böhler Thermanit X TIG Rods 1.4370 5kg
Böhler Thermanit X TIG rods are stainless and offer resistance to scaling up to 850 °C. However, it should be noted that they are not sufficiently resistant to sulfur-containing combustion gases at temperatures above 500 °C. These rods are used for joints and surfacing on heat-resistant Cr-steels/cast steel grades and heat-resistant austenitic steels/cast steel grades. They are well-suited for austenite-ferrite joints, with a maximum application temperature of 300 °C. Furthermore, they can be used for joining non-alloyed or low-alloyed steels/cast steel grades with austenites. It is important to ensure low heat input to avoid brittle martensite transition zones.
