Basically coated double-coated electrode with non-basic components for root welding, out-of-position welding and gap bridging. The coating components ensure excellent welding properties and an exceptionally directionally stable arc. Oerlikon Spezial welding rods have high low-temperature toughness down to -20 °C, which makes them particularly popular in steel construction, manufacturing and assembly in industry, trade and pipe construction. X-ray safe. Weldable with alternating current; ensure a no-load voltage of at least 65V on the power source side. Fine-droplet material transfer.

For operating temperatures from -40 °C to +450 °C. Hydrogen-controlled. For root welding, it is recommended to weld the electrode on the negative pole. This makes the arc more directed, facilitating root modeling and also reducing the arc's sensitivity to blow-through.
