Oerlikon Fincord Stick Electrodes
Oerlikon Fincord stick electrodes for unalloyed and low-alloyed steels
- Low spatter – self-peeling slag
- Flat fillet weld
- Finely rippled and clean welds
- Root weldability confirmed
- Spatter-free transition to base material
- Well suited for tack welding
Oerlikon Fincord thick rutile-coated stick electrodes for a wide range of applications with excellent welding properties. Suitable for operating temperatures from -10 °C to 450 °C. Quiet, stable arc. Suitable for all welding positions except vertical down (2.0 and 2.5mm also conditionally vertical down). Easy to handle, even for inexperienced welders.
Easy ignition and re-ignition, also weldable on contact.
Oerlikon Fincord stick electrodes can also be used with 220V mains transformers and are weldable at 42V protective voltage. For X-ray safe welds, Oerlikon FINCORD DB is recommended (also in conjunction with MAG welded layers).
General: Structural steel, fine-grain structural steel, shipbuilding steel, pressure vessel steel, pipe steel, cast steel, reinforcing steel
