Important Application Areas for Stick Electrodes MTC MT-DUR 63:
Welding wear and abrasion-resistant overlays on machine parts and equipment made of structural steel, cast steel, or manganese hard steel, which are exposed to very high abrasion from sand, gravel, ore, coal, cement, or similarly abrasive materials. For excavator teeth, slag crushers, conveyor systems, mixing and stirring blades, scraper teeth, press molds, press screws, sand centrifuges, guides, and similar parts that are subjected to low pressure or impact.
Special Notes:
Weld metal can only be machined by grinding. Low slag, which is easily removable. Flat weld bead; low mixing with the base material; favorable for surface armorings.
