Description: 

The Böhler Phoenix Cel 85 is a high-strength, cellulose-coated stick electrode ideally suited for vertical-down welding on large pipelines. It offers high economic efficiency compared to vertical-up welding and is particularly suitable for hot pass, fill, and cap pass welding on higher-strength pipe steels. The BÖHLER FOX CEL 85 is one of the most commonly used cellulose electrodes and meets the highest quality standards in large pipeline construction. It is characterized by very intensive, fine-droplet melting behavior and offers good toughness properties. It is also insensitive to weathering. The BÖHLER FOX CEL 85 is also suitable for use in sour gas and meets the requirements of the HIC test according to NACE TM-02-84. Values for the SSC test are also available.
