Böhler Phoenix Blue rutile-cellulose coated stick electrodes, suitable for a wide range of applications in repair, assembly, and workshop welding. Assembly work can be performed with constant current in all positions. Also suitable for welding rusty and production-coated sheets. Böhler Phoenix Blue stick electrodes are perfectly suited for tack welds and poor fit-ups. Weldable with direct and alternating current. Fine-scaled material transfer. Also well suited for beginners due to easy handling. 

Easy ignition and re-ignition. Relatively insensitive to contamination in the weld area. Stable arc and good X-ray integrity.

Böhler Phoenix Blue stick electrodes can also be used with small transformers and are weldable at 42V protective extra-low voltage.

Yield strength up to 420 MPa.

General: Fine-grain structural steels, shipbuilding steels according to approval grade 2, weldable reinforcing steels
