Description: 

A rutile-coated Böhler FOX FFB-A stick electrode with a core-wire alloyed structure of type E 25 20 R / E310-16, developed for heat-resistant steels of the same type, as used, for example, in annealing plants, hardening shops, boiler construction, and the petroleum and ceramic industries. For welded joints exposed to reducing, sulfur-containing gases, the FOX FA electrode should be used on the media side. For thick-walled welded constructions, the basic electrode BÖHLER FOX FFB is recommended. It produces smooth weld seams with easy slag detachability. Due to the risk of embrittlement, a temperature range of 650–900 ºC should be avoided. The electrode is scale resistant up to 1200 ºC.
