Welding wire ESAB OK Autrod 16.95 1.4370
Wire electrode for joining and surfacing of similar steels, high-manganese steels, military-grade steels, and heat-resistant Cr and CrNi steels (e.g., in exhaust system construction), as well as austenitic-ferritic joints (dissimilar joints) at operating temperatures up to 300°C. The weld metal is scale-resistant up to approx. 800°C. Not sufficiently resistant to sulfur-containing gases at temperatures over 500°C. Resistant to seawater and diluted acids. The weld metal is work-hardening and wear-resistant; very suitable for buffer layers and surfacing. Weld metal hardness: untreated approx. 180 HB, approx. 40 HRC after work hardening.
