Low-alloy, copper-plated welding wire Böhler Union X 96 for gas-shielded welding of quenched and tempered and thermomechanically rolled
fine-grained structural steels in crane and vehicle construction.
Good deformation behavior with highest strength values. Good cold crack resistance.

The weld metal achieves typical values in the as-welded condition (shielding gas M21):

• Yield strength Rp0,2: approx. 930 MPa

• Tensile strength Rm: approx. 980 MPa

• Elongation A5: approx. 14 %

• Impact energy (ISO-V):

  • approx. 80 J at +20 °C

  • approx. 47 J at –50 °C

This makes Union X 96 ideal for dynamically and statically highly stressed components.
