Description:
Made from 100% split leather, this jacket offers ultimate protection against welding spatter and molten materials. Special features include an internal tool pocket and an FR-lined stand-up collar with hook and loop closure. The fully protected front snaps allow for easy donning and doffing.
Maximum comfort is provided by underarm gussets to minimize sleeve slippage during overhead work and to always keep arms fully covered. Two snaps at the wrist ensure a custom and secure fit.
Intended Use:
Class 2 - recommended for manual welding processes with heavy spatter and droplet formation, e.g., shielded metal arc welding (with basic or cellulosic electrode), MAG welding (CO2 or mixed gases), MIG welding (with high currents), gas shielded welding, plasma cutting, gouging, oxy-fuel cutting, thermal spraying for operating machines, e.g., in confined spaces, during overhead welding/cutting or in forced positions. This clothing is intended to protect against flames, molten metal, spatter, radiant heat, and short-term, accidental electrical contact.
