The BÖHLER EML 5 TIG rods are unalloyed welding rods for TIG welding of unalloyed and low-alloy steels. Due to their comparatively low silicon content, they are particularly suitable for welded joints that are to be subsequently enameled or galvanized.

BÖHLER EML 5 is particularly suitable for root passes and, when used with appropriate base materials, can be used for applications at temperatures down to -50 °C.
