Important applications for MTC MT-AlSi 5 stick electrodes:
Aluminum-silicon alloys, as well as dissimilar aluminum alloys among themselves. Conditionally for hardenable alloys such as AlCuMg 1 (3.1325), AlMgSi 1 (3.2315), AlZn 4.5 Mg 1 (3.4335)

Special notes:
Guide the stick electrode with a short arc perpendicular to the base material. For larger workpieces and wall thicknesses over 15.00 mm, preheat the weld joint area to +150°C - +200°C. Since the pure weld metal is not hardenable, when welding hardenable aluminum alloys, the weld seams should not be placed in mechanically highly stressed areas.
