Description:

Basic graphitic pure nickel electrode for welding cast iron with little or no preheating. For production, construction, and repair welding, particularly on grey and malleable cast iron. Also for buttering weld flanks in mixed joints with steels. After buttering the cast side, continue welding with NiFe (OK NiFe-CI, OK NiFe-CI-A, Nicore 55). The multi-pass weld metal is easily machinable, hardness approx. 130 - 170 HB.
