Siegmund Universal Bolt Comfort, double burnished, System 22
The burnished universal bolt is the ideal connecting element between Siegmund components. It is used to connect elements with different material thicknesses. The clamping range for the short universal bolt is 33–39 mm, and for the long universal bolt 51–57 mm. The large balls shift the center of pressure outwards and prevent material displacement towards the bore due to low surface pressure at high clamping forces.
The universal bolt is tightened using the integrated handwheel or a size 14 hex key (Item No. 280854).
This bolt is NOT permitted for connecting tables and U-shaped squares!
Tightening torque depends on the table type.
