Description Megafil 731B
MEGAFIL® 731 B is a seamless basic flux-cored wire with excellent operating characteristics and is suitable for steels with a tensile strength of up to 600 N/mm2. It produces weld metal with excellent crack resistance under difficult conditions and exhibits good cold impact toughness down to -60 ºC. Due to the seamless manufacturing process, the hydrogen content is below 3 ml / 100 g of weld metal even after long storage. Low spatter values in conjunction with an extremely stable arc guarantee excellent weldability. Applications: structural steelwork, buffer layers, heavy applications, pressure vessels, general fabrication, heavy transport, earthmoving equipment, railway tracks, etc.
