Description Megafil 713R
MEGAFIL® 713 R is a seamless, micro-alloyed rutile flux-cored wire with fast-freezing slag for CO2 and Ar-CO2 mixtures. The wire can be used in all positions and produces a very stable, soft arc with excellent weld bead shape and surface finish with negligible spatter. The slag is easily removable, and fume generation is very low. It is suitable for welding unalloyed and medium-strength carbon-manganese structural steels and produces excellent root passes on ceramic backing. Easy application and high productivity combined with good mechanical properties and a hydrogen content in the weld metal of less than 4 ml/100g make MEGAFIL® 713 R an extremely versatile flux-cored wire for general applications. Applications: shipbuilding, steel and container construction, mechanical engineering, and pipeline construction.
