Description for Diamondspark 46 RC
Fully sealed, copper-coated flux-cored electrode Diamondspark 46 RC suitable for single or multi-pass welding of unalloyed and low-alloy structural and fine-grain structural steels using shielding gas M21 (Ar / CO2) or pure CO2. The resulting weld metal exhibits good impact toughness down to -30°C under M21. The flux-cored wire is particularly distinguished by excellent weldability in constrained positions. In the PF position, optimized slag characteristics allow for very high welding speeds. Further properties include a smooth seam surface, minimal spatter, and easily removable slag. Due to the seamless design, the hydrogen content of the pure weld metal is very low, at 1-3 ml / 100 g weld metal.
