A pressure reducer that can be used in many areas and offers excellent outlet pressure stability and safety when working with gases. The BaseControl offers high performance for all common applications of CO², argon and AR/CO². The pressure reducer brings savings in terms of service, spare parts and complete replacement due to an extended service life. In addition, the BaseControl has an ergonomic design and stands out for its simple and user-friendly handling.
The pressure reducer has the PRV safety device, which protects the low-pressure chamber of the regulator against overpressure. Manufactured according to the highest safety requirements of ISO 5171, the BaseControl performs reliably and safely. The pressure gauge is equipped with a triple scale, and the housing of the BaseControl is forged from pressure-resistant brass.
The pressure reducer has a low weight of 1.25kg.
The BaseControl should only be used at temperatures from -5 to +60 °C.

Preparation and application
Before the pressure reducer can be connected to the gas cylinder, ensure that the gas cylinder has a stable stand.
Then you can unscrew the cap nut or plug of the gas cylinder and briefly open the cylinder valve to blow out dust and other contaminants.
Before opening the cylinder valve, unscrew the adjusting screw of the pressure reducer until the spring is relieved and open the cylinder valve slowly and carefully.
Please also check for leaks with, for example, leak detection spray.
