This electrode finds application in a wide range of welding tasks, from joining similar creep-resistant steels and cast steel to joining high-strength structural, fine-grain, and pipeline steels. The Böhler FOX DMO Kb is approved for long-term use at temperatures up to 550 °C and shows excellent notch toughness at temperatures below -50 °C.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe coating type, specifically tailored to the electrode's core, exhibits low moisture absorption, ensuring a low content of diffusible hydrogen in the weld metal.
