It exhibits excellent strength and toughness properties and maintains them down to a temperature of -50°C. This electrode provides a high weld metal recovery of approximately 110% and is well-suited for almost all welding positions except vertical-down. Furthermore, the weld metal of the Böhler FOX EV 50 stick electrode has very low hydrogen content (according to AWS: HD ≤ 4 ml\/100 g).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis electrode is ideally suited for joint welding in steel, boiler, tank, vehicle, shipbuilding, and mechanical engineering, as well as for buffer layers in overlay welding of high-alloy steels.
